Great storytelling
Thanks so much!

Congratulations to You!
Your show tonight was magnificent in so many ways. It so happens that my dad left the scene ten days short of his 69th birthday. I reach that mark myself in eleven days. Thanks for bringing that reference point to my attention through your riveting content.
Thank you, Dan!

Congrats on your 65th!
Thank you for everything Tom. The father that many of us never had. Cheers!
Really appreciate it, Kenta!

Tom, welcome to the world of
Senior Citizen Discounts. Happy Birthday Dad!
congratulations on making that milestone
It's 70 for me. Every male on my dad's side is lost to diabetes. None of them made it to 70. My dad passed away at 69 in November of 2001. I will be 67 in a couple months. By that age dad had endured multiple amputations of his right leg--first the foot--then below the knee--then above the knee and a stroke that paralyzed his entire left side. He was a bit overweight smoked a lot, Camel straights, an easy 3 packs a day (switched to Marlboro some time in his 40s) and he was a regular drinker but not an alcoholic. After 25 years in the USAF, a lot can be forgiven. But the weird part; he put salt on everything. He would sprinkle salt on every bite of an apple or watermelon. He would salt a slice of pie. Plus he would eat all kinds of stuff that even as a kid just disgusted me, like pickled pig's feet. I'm pretty sure his diet killed him.
Me? I'm just the opposite of that and I'm in pretty good health for being close to 70.
Listen up, young guys, like many other things Toms says, there's a real payoff to eating right.
