Supposing it was a matter of "defending the honor" of Jada Smith, how is someone that cheated on her husband honorable? Will Smith is a my opinion.

It seemed totally out of character for Will Smith as he often comes across as an actor who has a carefree attitude. Initially, I wondered if there was something more going on behind the silences between Will Smith and Chris Rock, that the audience doesn't see. It wasn't just the slap that seemed out of character, but also what he said afterword, "Keep my wife's name out of your F-ing mouth." It will be interesting to see how this affects Will Smith going forward.

What a complete loser in my book. Narcissistic personality disorder with rage, if not outright psychopathy.
Will Smith has led a life I can't even begin to comprehend. Success, fame, fortune. What a greedy little bitch.
And, I'm wondering how many others will be hit, because this cult of personality asshole cuckold hit Chris Rock.
A lifetime of success was destroyed in an instant, all over some vapid vain bitch with zero sense of humor. Blow Me Up Tom

I would have leaned over to my offended-by-the-joke wife and said something like "lighten up Frances, it's a joke".

As you mentioned Tom, the event is just one more example of how laws really don't apply to all of us equally.

It is also a problem that there was no security, but I'm sure if one of the camera guys had gotten pissed, walked out on stage and slapped Chris Rock, the outcome would have been very different.
