MONEY Is it a good idea to run a balance or pay a credit card late so you'll incur interest and therefore, hopefully, raise your credit score? Is peer-to-peer lending a good business model? Is it a good idea to have multiple IRA accounts in various banks and investment firms? Tom answers your email and brings you answers.

Here is the article Tom referred to regarding trying to build your credit by letting the balance ride: Millions of Americans Make a Costly Mistake When Paying Credit Card Bills.

Tom,
I'm really enjoying these podcasts. To be honest, there are only a few callers that I miss hearing (as well as; Dino, Gary and Timson). The straight to the point nature of these podcasts without the following calls has its own vantage point. I hope you enjoy making them as much as I enjoy listening to them. Thanks.

These robber barons require $25K... 25 THOUSAND DOLLARS to open a CD which pays considerably less than the Vanguard rates you've mentioned. Can't tell you how offended I am, as a small potatoes customer. These guys are as customer unfriendly as the airlines, which I will save for later time. Citibank really doesn't want anyone's CD business with minimums like this.

Hey Tom,
Hope all is well with you this evening. Probably sipping that wine. I wanna say thanks for sharing your wisdom with us. I've really learned alot from your show. I never got to call in live and share. So when I heard about the podcast I was excited. After listening to a few, I have to agree with alot of the comments. I'm loving it. Its short but sweet. It seems you can get a little deeper into the subject since you don't have callers and other things. I actually feel like I get more. Thanks again Tom.

Hi Tom, I prefer these podcasts, keep it up! I like that they are shorter so i am more likely to listen and your monologues are amazing.
