As Michael Moore put it "It will be the biggest fuck you in human history" -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxDRqeuLNag

Its likely to happen again as it seems no one learned the lessons of the past election cycle. I'm a trader, so I pick up on macro and social trends. Its second nature. If I was buying election futures, I'd be heavy into Trump winning in 2020 because the probability is high at the moment. Again, just risk estimation and making money - I'm not into politics.

I'd like to see Tom cover some of the crazy things happening in his home state, like this one -- https://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2019/09/25/grab-and-dash-thefts-rise-pol... Prop 74 allows theft under $950 bucks to be treated as a misdemeanor.

That's fucking insane. Hey Tom, how about instead of "Flash Friday" you have "Five Finger Friday" lololol

I try to take in as many viewpoints and perspectives as I can so it was nice to see Matt Taibbi as your guest. Great show. It was also nice to hear you both talk about Noam Chomsky as he has very interesting perspectives on foreign policy and politics. Some of the work Taibbi was referring to by Chomsky is called "manufacturing consent."

We are consumers of information just like electronics or anything else. Information is a consumable good.
I like to say we are responsible consumers where it matters least and irresponsible consumers where it matters most.
