I agree Tom, forgiving massive debts doesn't do anyone any favors. Its usually the last step before the currency becomes nearly worthless. There is no "free lunch", even with the pro-socialists clamoring for it. But then again these are the same morons that think Modern Monetary Theory -- Basically issue as much debt as you want until things are "recovered" -- is a good idea.

Keep the socialists out of my paycheck, thank you very much. I work too hard to just hand it to a freeloader.

Some of us worked while going to school and had to earn the money to pay for our own college tuition (or trade school or other type of training). We didn't have our parents or Uncle Sam to pay for us to party for four years while majoring in a worthless subject. Why should we be penalized?

As someone who grew up poor and got several Ivy League degrees, I had to bust my ass (no smartphone, no Starbucks, etc). Also, the value of these degrees has diminished, as Tom points out. It's not fair on those who never made those choices and decisions.
