POOR THELMA SMITH After 30 years at the same address, 102-year-old Thelma Smith is being told to vacate her apartment because the landlord's daughter, a recent law school graduate, needs a place to live. Is that right? It's perfectly legal, but is the landlord doing the wrong thing to this sweet old lady?

Take a look at this story about 102-year-old Thelma Smith from CBS News.

Here's a story from the Los Angeles Times about the eviction of Thelma Smith that lays it all out.

This story is such biased bullshit, like Tom says.

Where is this lady's family? Where is the "community" that she supposedly helped? Why won't the fucking reporter help her? The landlord was being lenient, he could've had her out in 30 days, but he gave her THREE TIMES LONGER to get her shit together.

Like Tom says, it isn't her house!

Sitting in it like a stubborn old crabapple isn't going to solve anything. Sounds like to me she's just stubbornly trying to hold on. Screw that shit, get some of the social programs that blanket the west coast like a snowdrift and get her stupid ass out of there.

Good call Tom, she's gotta go.
