the author just described every era in history of the united states. Roaring 20s, Great depression of the 1930's. World wars of the 40s. The space race of the 60s, vietnam of the 60-70s. now its the era of trump where we are all here to benefit trump - lucky us. We are due for a raise in inflation if we cant pay down the debt. I dont want to see a progressive impose a networth tax, but it looks like that could happen in next decade or two.

safest investments have been mutual funds because of the diversity, but corona might have doomed out economy for years. yes, we need to bail out the average w2 worker. i, myself am investing in apartment buildings - that is definitely not a sure thing. - its reliable but local governments can impose moratorium on rent which would kill my income.

the international mutual funds regardless if they are in asia, or europe or africa, look like a good investment for me.

Wow! What an eye opening interview! I been saying the same thing but this guy explained it so well, made it even scarier now. Ordered this book immediately. Can't wait until it arrives.

Thank you Tom for putting together such an informative podcast. Money, politics, macroeconomics, are things functional and successful people know and discuss. Let the mouth breathers complain, the rest of us, the successful, appreciate the level of discourse.
