Radio is on the decline. I'm surprised there are any broadcast stations, frankly.

Seems like they'll just end up using some machine algorithm that reads from a text file. The days of a live body in front of a mic is on the decline.

Would be funny if they freed up that spectrum and there was a resurgence of pirate radio stations. That would be original and interesting.

Good show, Tom.

This is so interesting, and for those of us who remember when radio stations were the place to get info, tickets, etc, it really explains a lot. I loved the "album rock" stations back in the day but, I like much better being able to go onto my computer and hear what I want, when I want. good ol days, ok, yeah, but I like it better now.
