Yes, I agree with you about my life, I can only control what I do, and I don’t need to worry about anything else. So far, following your advice I have improved my life, I need to keep going. 2023 for me will be a year to tie up loose ends and double down on investing in my future.
Long Time Listener....anyways glad you're still here, always like to hear your podcasts. Just wanted to note, re: the Animal ads for the ASPCA, there are ways if you're so inclined to help animals/people locally, in ways that aren't just sending $$ to puff up the coffers of charity CEOs. One thing I do sometimes is give blankets and towels to our local shelters, which they're always happy to take. That way some of these dogs stuck in shelters can at least be a little more comfortable. Many also accept food donations too. And do know that local SPCAs and Humane Societies do rescue work like you see in the commercials. I've even volunteered to work in some of them. This however is dangerous, as it's too tempting to fall in love and soon I'd have way too many dogs.
