TALK RADIO'S AL RANTEL ON TRUMP AND HITLER When Tom recently posted on social media that he was blocking all Donald Trump supporters, he also compared Trump to Adolf Hitler. That was when longtime KABC radio and Miami, FL talk show host  Al Rantel stepped in. Was that a fair comparison? Hear what Al thinks and hear how Tom responds! Also, learn who told Tom, "Don't attack Trump!"

Really excellent on all fronts. The next two, or really, four and a half-months are set up to be a pivotal point in our history. The stakes are high!

Great Episode as usually. This was very timely and needed. I agree with you 100%. I especially enjoy you telling stories of your career. For example, you mentioned you'd have a drink with another radio host or TV host you'd disagreed with on the air. I found it surprising you'd have a drink with Pat Buchanan after a show. It's a shame our political climate today won't allow that today that kind professionalism in the industry. I'd love to hear more guests on your show. You really know how to engage with your guests. This is one of the few times I wish you were live. I"d love to hear what other calls are saying. Yes, I know i can read their comments on Facebook or Twitter. But sometimes you can get a good read from what people a feeling by their voice.

Great episode. My favorite shows of yours are the ones where you shoot the bull with guests, about former conversations and times past as it relates to professionalism. Your show with Rex Pickett being one of the best. Cheers!

Funny you mentioned Drew Hayes. I recall him running WLS in Chicago in the 90s. It was an all Conservative station but he did have a guy on the station late at night (10p-2a) named Jay Marvin, a left wing guy who admitted to being a socialist. Jay would often butt heads with Drew Hayes and talk about it on the air. There were plenty of conservatives calling to bust Jay's balls and vice versa but everyone had fun. There was a segment at the beginning of each show where he would take unscreened calls and listeners would make a comment or put together a segment:

It was very similar to Be Funny. I have always wondered if you knew the guy or if you guys worked together somewhere along the line and perhaps he was inspired by your work.

Anyway the point is that everyone had fun and one of Jay's quotes was "just because we disagree doesn't mean we have to hate".

Also was surprised to hear that you enjoyed having Buchanan after a show. Figured he would be the last guy you'd have drinks with. He is still writing articles to this day. Perhaps you could interview him on your show sometime? :)

THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!! YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!!
THE WORLD IS A SCARY PLACE AND IT IS SO SAD THAT OUR COUNTRY DOES NOT HAVE A LEADER TO SEE US THROUGH THIS.... INSTEAD OF LEADING HE IS USING PEOPLE FOR TARGET PRACTICE. POINTING HIS COVID19 VIRUS TOWARDS ANYBODY IT WILL STICK TO!
